Apply for Ruby on Rails Developer

Responsibilities:
Lead the development of key features at all levels of the Ruby/Rails/MySQL/Redis/Javascript/CSS stack. Work remotely or on site (in San Francisco or Seattle) with a small team of the original founders to innovate, design and build social software that impacts how people meet and interact at conferences and events.

Experience Required:
B.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
2+ years demonstrated experience building scalable Ruby on Rails web applications
3+ years of commercial experience in software development
1+ years experience using JavaScript especially w/ JQuery
In-depth knowledge of Ajax, CSS, JavaScript and other front end technologies
Strong Apache, Linux, MySQL experience
Knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform client application development

Other Relevant Experience:
Well versed in Agile development practices
A passion for developing robust, extensible, well-written software
Experience with developing open source software
Version control experience with SVN or Git
Experience with Cloud-based computing such as EC2 or Chef
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
